Our Story
FermoTech stems from the vision of creating an effective synergy between university research and local businesses, with the goal of raising technological innovation levels within the conception, design, and marketing processes of Made in Italy products. This vision has materialized through the project FERMO TECHnology lab for innovation and research into «Made in Italy» products, co-funded with resources from the «Fermo 0-99+» Urban ITI, under the POR FESR REGIONE MARCHE 2014-2020 Axis I Action 2.1, and the creation of the Collaborative Platform of the same name, based in Fermo. Its cornerstone is the Lab, equipped with cutting-edge technologies and dedicated to research, development, innovation, technology transfer, and training.
On May 21, 2024, the Lab became a non-profit joint-stock consortium with limited liability — FermoTech S.c.a.r.l. — thanks to the committed participation of its six founding members.
Mission
Our mission is to support and accelerate the digital transformation of companies through technological innovation and specialized training. We are dedicated to providing excellence in eXtended Reality, Additive Manufacturing, Data Science, and AI, as well as supporting companies with environmental impact and carbon footprint assessments, through collaboration with universities and technology partners. Our goal is to enhance the skills and capabilities of businesses, supporting them on their journey toward a sustainable and competitive future within the context of Industry 4.0.
